London, England Street Sign Of Historic Interest - Lombard Street

A significant street sign from one of Londons most famous streets. 

The sign is set in a cast iron frame and then impressed with black and red lettering on to the vitrolite glass.

Lombard street is often referred to and compared with Wall Street, New York because of the roads rich history in finance. The street has a traceable past starting off as one of Londons original Roman Roads all the way to the booming eighties when all the top financial institutions traded there.
