Gold witches ball

Examples of witches balls can be seen in the windows and doorways throughout the country. A witches ball is a hollow sphere of glass that were historically used in the 17th/18th century to ward off evil spirits from their homes. Purchased from a private collector these were all acquired in the 1960’s.
